Waters Center for Systems Thinking

The Waters Center for Systems Thinking helps leaders and organizations consider multiple perspectives and make better decisions. As a Certified Advanced Facilitator, I can help leaders design systems and make more thoughtful decisions.

Many leaders are familiar with the metaphor of an iceberg when thinking about a problem. I can help leaders and their teams see what is happening (the visible ice of the iceberg) as well as better understand the mental models that exist (the perspectives of people). I can help leaders and their teams see the structure of the system (every system is designed to do exactly what it does) as well as the patterns of behavior being created by the system (the actions of the people in the system influence what is happening). Together, we can identify leverage points and find ways to do things better.
